Dr Simone Kaye

Dr Simone Kaye provides general Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endoscopy services.

Dr Kaye was born and raised in Darwin and studied medicine in South Australia, graduating in 1996. She trained in the Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia. Following admission as a Fellow to the Royal College of Physicians at the end of 2003, Dr Kaye moved to the United Kingdom to undertake a one-year advanced traineeship in hepatology (liver disease).

Dr Kaye stayed on in the UK working as a consultant Gastroenterologist and General Physician for 10 years.  There she developed a special interest in clinical inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

Returning to Australia in 2013 Dr Kaye worked both pubically and privately in Brisbane.  Since 2016 Dr Kaye has been performing scopes at Noosa Hospital where she is now exclusively based.

Dr Kaye will be happy to receive privately insured patient referrals for general gastroenterology and hepatology including inflammatory bowel disease and colon cancer screening, as well as for diagnostic or therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
